Land subsidence occurs throughout the Netherlands. Northern, Central and Western Netherlands in particular are affected. Unfortunately, this decline is often not even. This leads to cracking, damage and safety problems in buildings and infrastructure. In some places it is getting worse quickly, while in others the situation is stabilizing.
The problem is extensive; Money and available people are limited.
To gain insight into the rate of deterioration, we help owners and managers with continuous monitoring of cracks with our CrackR sensor. This gives them insight into where they need to work on the problems first and where action can still be postponed. This way, budgets and staff can be deployed first, where it is needed most.
